SHS drama students were recognized in 10 different categories at the ESAG (Eastern Student Artist Guild) Awards earlier this week! Gold and Gold with Recognition honors were received for student directing, student writing, performance, technical design, and production. The list of categories and honorees, along with a few pictures, can be found here. Congratulations!

Last Friday, SHS students competed in the Siena University High School Programming Contest. Our teams captured a first place prize and an honorable mention while competing against 109 teams across 28 schools, with a total of 395 students competing. Congratulations to our programmers! 

On the same day, another group of SHS students competed in the 2026 Westchester County Regional Envirothon at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson. 15 high schools in the region tested their knowledge of environmental topics including aquatic ecology, forestry, soils and land use, wildlife, and environmental issues via a hands-on competition. The team from Scarsdale High School won the Aquatics division, and was the Westchester County winner, advancing to the New York State Envirothon on May 17-28. Congratulations to our environmental scientists!

The Scarsdale Safe Coalition is proud to partner with the Take Back the Night Foundation to host a Take Back the Night Rally, an event dedicated to ending all forms of sexual violence.
